Bio

With a diverse career in education, sports, administration, and the military, I am committed to promoting growth, inclusivity, and leadership. At Montgomery Bell Academy, I educate and nurture critical thinking among students, coach football and basketball emphasizing teamwork and personal growth, and work in admissions and academic support to enhance educational access for diverse students. I also teach a leadership course, underlining the importance of academic proficiency, social responsibility, and empathy.

Previously, I was an assistant football coach at the University of Cincinnati, contributing to a College Football Playoff appearance in the 2021/2022 season. My football background includes 16 years of playing experience and four years of collegiate coaching, notably leading my team to victory as Head Coach in the 2024 Dream Bowl. My skills in strategy development, team management, performance optimization, and operational analysis position me uniquely for success.

In the Navy, I managed recruiting operations across seven states, boosting morale and productivity through an "Employees First" approach, leading to significant improvements in recruiting and attrition rates.

As the Naval Academy's varsity football team captain, I led a winning season against significant challenges, including a notable victory over Army and San Diego State University in the Poinsettia Bowl. My professional football experience includes participating in the Tennessee Titans' Rookie Mini Camp in 2015, before I chose to pursue a career in the military over continuing in professional football.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, with Masters in Human Resource Management from Troy University and Sports Administration from the University of Louisville. I also completed Navy Supply Corps School, focusing on supply and logistical management. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
